July 14th, 2004 UPDATE

The whywork.org website has now been taken over as of July 14th, 2004 by the owners of Katz Global Media. There are also other new admins and writers who will be coming on board to help make this site the best it can be.

Katz Global is a privately owned and family run web hosting company specialized in privacy and freedom of speech hosting and has 14 hosting locations in 8 countries around the globe and has been in business since 1997.

The owner of the company has been a huge fan of the site for a number of years and has discussed this in the past with JoAnne Swanson. We were sad to see her place this site into archive status and we decided to ask her if we can take it over to bring it back to life and we were ecstatic when she kindly accepted our offer and gave us this wonderful opportunity.

This will be the only time we will mention our company in any official way as that is not the purpose of this site. The reason I am mentioning it here is that the experiences of the owner directly relate to the struggle to find alternatives to wage slavery and Katz Global is a direct result of his experiences. This gives him a unique perspective in practical application of the ideas found here and we hope this will somehow help and inspire others to success.

The site will no longer remain dormant as an archive, but now be actively expanded on a regular basis. The plan is to develop a community centered around the ideas found on this site and actively expand many areas on the site over the next year and beyond.

Soon you will see a complete redesign, a new discussion forum and have the ability to post commentary after reading articles. We will also be adding more content, articles, news, essays and book reviews. Last but not least we will be working really hard to develop the area on the site concerning the practical application of the ideas found here. This will include methods and practical ways to become self sufficient, how to's about privacy, alternative money options, credit repair, and how to make better use of the Internet among other things. In other words, we intend to make this site be a number 1 source for people who wish to leave wage slavery behind and become self sufficient. To accomplish that goal, we will be donating not only time, but funds to the cause to use for marketing the site to a wider audience.

We hope you like the changes and ask for any feedback you can provide us.

We will also be actively seeking fresh writers and admins to assist the site's expansion. If you would like to contribute anything to this site, please email me (Scott Morgan) at freemind@whywork.org.
